The Prenatal Service Program (PSP) makes prenatal care and other maternity services available and accessible to qualified applicants. This program is available at two prenatal clinics located in Norristown: Family OB/GYN of Montgomery and Mercy Suburban OB/GYN Center.
Services are culturally sensitive and include: • Early prenatal care • Prenatal related laboratory tests • Instruction on normal physical changes and common discomforts • Diet information and counseling to help you eat properly • Assistance with smoking cessation and substance abuse
How to qualify/enroll for this program: • Must be low income, uninsured pregnant women who live in Montgomery County and are rejected by Medical Assistance
• Enrollment must be before 28 weeks gestation • Hospital clinics qualify the applicant
