Prenatal Services Program
 
The Prenatal Service Program (PSP) makes prenatal care and other maternity services available and accessible to qualified applicants. This program is available at two prenatal clinics located in Norristown: Family OB/GYN of Montgomery and Mercy Suburban OB/GYN Center.
 
Services are culturally sensitive and include:
• Early prenatal care
• Prenatal related laboratory tests
• Instruction on normal physical changes and common discomforts
• Diet information and counseling to help you eat properly
• Assistance with smoking cessation and substance abuse
 
How to qualify/enroll for this program:
• Must be low income, uninsured pregnant women who live in Montgomery County and are rejected by Medical Assistance
• Enrollment must be before 28 weeks gestation
• Hospital clinics qualify the applicant

Program funding is limited and is through PADOH Maternal and Child Health Title V Grant.
